Lane two · we do the work

Mail us, then mail us the light.

Write to us and we send you back our address. You buy the light, you have it shipped straight to that address, and then you forget about it. We plug it in, we listen to what it says, and we write its file.

1You send one email with the model code of each light you want.
2We answer with the address the parcel goes to.
3The light lands on our desk.
4Within a week, your model is on this site.

The small print, which is small

Which lights are worth sending?: Any one missing from this list. A strip, a bulb, a lamp, a panel: if it lights up and it is a Govee, it is welcome. A model on Govee's own list of Wi-Fi models is the easy kind, and it still needs somebody to confirm it.
Where does my light end up?: On our shelf, for good. It is your contribution to the project, and it earns its keep there: it answers questions long after its page goes up, every time the firmware changes. Take lane one if you would rather keep yours.
What if my model resists?: Then the page says so, in those words: untested, which is a long way from broken.
I want to help, and my lights are staying put.: Take a look at the source. Reports, notes and corrections all land in the same place.
